Badhil 1. In order to view, add or edit Password protected pages, (including Matrimonial) you need to know the general username and password. NO NEED TO REGISTER FOR USERNAME AND PASSWORD. 2. The online form for Sourashtra Directory is a listing of Sou.People living in North America. Do not fill this if you want to place a ad in Matrimonials. 5. Do not send me e-mail to fill up a ad for you, or asking for possible matches for you. 6. All entries in Matrimonial section are free of charge, and is provided for the benefit of Sourashtra Community. Please do not abuse it. To prevent abuse, IP address and other information will be recorded into a log file whenever you add or modify. 8. Badhil Some claim we are Brahmins, but others claim we are not. We do wear the thread, and have gothras. So in that aspect we are brahmins. Some of us also eat non-veg, so are we brahimins? We can argue both sides, but the end result is we are not sure. According to Tamilnadu classification we come under "Pattunulkarar" Sourashtra in the Backward Class. |

Badhil I am counting on the honesty of our people. Why would you want to change/edit any other persons matrimonial ad. I admit it has happened before, but I do have logs that record all the changes/additions, so I can find out. It everyone has their own username and password and they forget it, then it creates a bigger headache for me. I'm the only one maintaining this site, and I am not a software engineer by trade. |

Badhil Please look in Gheru Naav/Gothra Naav by Sri. K.R. Sethuraman. I have seen the book, but I do not have a copy. He tries to explain the reason for family names in that book. |
